PORTRAIT OF MARION SANCHEZ-DEBLUE, DIRECTOR OF THE ESTABLISHMENT
Born on October 25, 1977, Marion Sanchez-Deblue is the daughter of Marc Deblue, the iconic butcher on the Rue de la Gare. On September 1, 2013, she fulfilled her dream by becoming the first family member to take over the reins of the family hotel. The mother of two boys – Anthony and Marlon – she considers “Le Perdtemps” her third child.
Her love of hospitality is certainly not anything new. As a little girl, at family celebrations, she would potter around behind the Reception desk once meals were over.
It came as no surprise, then, that she would go on to attend the Geneva Hotel School. She then went on to receive her training in various establishments in Geneva and Saint-Gallen, where she was trained to the highest standards of the global hotel industry.
When she took over as Director, she set about making her mark, working every day to perpetuate the hotel’s family spirit in an inviting ambience that is a welcome haven. When she arrived, the young Director completely renovated the premises. Anxious to preserve the tradition, though, she kept the over 100-year-old black and white marble floors.
Dynamic, motivated, and very fond of the region, Marion Sanchez-Deblue has transformed everything... without changing a thing.
