The Perdtemps hotel is over one hundred years of history and tradition. Above all, though, it is the story of families. Built in 1903, the establishment was at the time called the “Hôtel des Alpes”, and was one of Nyon’s oldest buildings. From the time it opened, various hotelier families have worked to make it a landmark for Nyon residents and convenience-loving travellers.  

Belonging first to the Häberlin family, the hotel then comes under ownership by the Roethlisberger family which begins to secure the hotel’s reputation well beyond its Nyon borders. So successful were they, in fact, that in 1962 – when the Deblue family takes the reins – the establishment is considered the region’s leading hotel. 

This quest for excellence continues to be the credo for these new owners - a very well-established Nyon family. For two years, until 1964, the hotel undergoes major renovation work to safeguard the hotel’s quality and reputation. 

Adapting to the influence of time and the city’s growth, “Le Perdtemps” has constantly evolved to attract a clientele that was deserting the centre, especially when the autoroute was being built.

Today, the family tradition is alive and well: the owner’s granddaughter, Marion Sanchez-Deblue, took over the management of “Le Perdtemps” on September 1, 2013. Every day, she is committed to perpetuating the legacy forged by her predecessors – a legacy built on tradition in a resolutely modern setting, where one feels right at home.
